Brooke Corporation to Host National Franchise Convention in Las Vegas.
Brooke Corporation will return to Las Vegas for its 2006 annual national franchise convention, scheduled Oct. 22-24 at the new South Coast Casino and Hotel.
Approximately 1,000 Brooke franchisees, employees, directors and stockholders from across the country are expected to take part in the event. Convention activities include an opening night reception, franchisee recognition luncheon, and a variety of speakers, exhibits and entertainment. Baseball legend Johnny Bench is among the keynote presenters. Brooke Corporation held its 2004 convention in Las Vegas. Its 2005 event, which was planned for New Orleans, was cancelled due to Hurricane Katrina.
“Although we were disappointed in not having the 2005 convention, we are very excited about returning to Las Vegas for this year’s event,” said Robert D. Orr, chairman and chief executive officer of Brooke Corporation. “Annual convention is a great opportunity for Brooke franchisees, employees, directors and stockholders to network with each other and celebrate our accomplishments for the year.”
