RE/MAX International and RE/MAX of New York, Inc. franchise sales ahead of pace at mid-year.
Franchise UK – Franchise sales for global real estate franchiser, RE/MAX International and it’s New York affiliate RE/MAX of New York, Inc. are ahead of projections for 2006. Both organizations have experienced record growth during the first half year of sales. RE/MAX International sales figures were 1.8 percent stronger than the same time period in 2005 according to statistics analyzed at the end of June. RE/MAX of New York, Inc. is also experiencing significant growth with franchise sales figures at 40 percent greater than for the same period last year.
A total of 451 new franchises were sold by mid-year compared to 443 for 2005 setting a new record for first half of the year sales. RE/MAX of New York, Inc. was one of the leading regions with 23 franchises sold. Other areas of the United States showed strong growth, including the Carolinas with 21 completed sales, Texas 18, California/Hawaii 17 and the Central Atlantic region 23.
