Homes & Land rolls out national video program
Homes & Land Magazine, the nation’s premier real estate publication, is now offering streaming video tours of homes for sale in cities across the United States. Homes & Land’s advanced technology enables consumers to easily watch narrated videos of property listings from their home or office. Homes & Land Videos will appear on https://www.homesandland.com/ and other high-traffic websites.
“We believe that streaming video will play a key role in real estate advertising,” said Robert Wicker, Chief Marketing Officer for Homes & Land. “We made a commitment to be the first real estate marketer to roll out video nationwide, empowering our customers with a complete multimedia solution.”
Homes & Land Videos have an audio component comparable to television, so homebuyers on the Internet can see and hear an agent narrate an online tour of a property listing. Homebuyers can then determine in advance if a property is right for them.

Homes & Land is in the process of completing the set-up of its national network of videographers. The
videographers team up with local Homes & Land Publishers to provide the video service in a local marketplace. The videos feature listings from real estate brokers and agents who advertise in Homes & Land Magazine. Brokers and agents can also film a personal profile video that promotes their expertise and credentials to real estate consumers. Homes & Land Video is currently available in 40 markets. The company plans to offer video in over 100 markets by the end of the year.
Once a video is filmed, it is automatically posted on the Internet. Links to the video can also be emailed to out-of-town homebuyers. “Recently a couple was relocating to Oregon,” Wicker said. “The couple saw a Homes & Land Video of a listing. They made an offer on the listing based solely on the video presentation. The couple never physically toured the property. This transaction illustrates how powerful video can be in delivering results to our advertisers,” Wicker said.
