Brooke advertising franchise to open July 31.

Leland G. Orr, general manager of Brooke Franchise Corporation’s Phillipsburg, Kan. campus, announced the July 31 opening of the new Brooke advertising centre facility at 195 State Street in Phillipsburg. Brooke Franchise Corporation is a subsidiary of Brooke Corporation (Nasdaq:BXXX) and a leading franchisor of insurance agencies.

The advertising centre will be a part of Brooke’s Phillipsburg campus, which provides basic services to Brooke franchisees that include commissions processing, document imaging, facility support and advertising assistance.

“The new advertising centre building is a unique facility and another example of how we help make our franchisees successful,” stated Orr. “Our investment in the advertising centre facility, and the advertising professionals who work there, gives Brooke franchisees a tool that is not available to other independent insurance agencies.”

The new 25,000 square foot advertising facility features five work and retail areas including: 1) professionals’ work space, 2) materials showroom, 3) merchandise store, 4) print shop and, 5) video production studio.

Advertising centre personnel consist of approximately 30 professionals specializing in disciplines such as traditional advertising, direct mail advertising, alternative advertising, public relations, lead generation and location analysis. The work space created in the advertising centre for these professionals provides a creative, open environment.

The advertising centre’s open floor plan allows for the display of outdoor signage, wrapped cars and other advertising tools. In addition, the square footage of the facility provides room for storage of advertising materials and logo merchandise, giving franchisees the benefits of volume discounts and immediate shipping.

The advertising centre also houses a logo merchandise store and gourmet coffee bar. Access is available to employees and the general public wishing to purchase Brooke logo merchandise and patronize the coffee bar.

The print shop constructed in the advertising centre accommodates printing, copying and mailing equipment that is used for franchisee advertising and promotions. Nearly a quarter of a million dollars has been invested in print shop equipment. Franchisees receive significant cost and time benefits from Brooke’s print shop investment.

The video production studio serves as an important communication, training and advertising tool. The studio is fully equipped with professional video cameras, lighting, production computers and software. This component of the advertising centre is designed to be sound-proof and lighting friendly.
