Playtime Nurseries provides care for children aged three months to five years following the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. The company was created by Victoria and Craig Robson in 2008 following Victoria’s experience when she was looking to return to work after having her son. She visited local nurseries but couldn’t find one that fitted the vision she had of where she wanted her son to be looked after.
Victoria launched Playtime Nurseries to provide children with the care, support, life skills and love that she wanted her own son – and now daughter – to receive in their childcare setting.
The first Playtime Nursery to open was Playtime Nursery Shepperton which Victoria and Craig rented and renovated themselves. Parents responded so well to the ethos, where children were treated as a part of the family that the Shepperton nursery was followed a few years later by Playtime Nursery Staines and then Playtime Nursery Wandsworth and the number of children and staff continues to grow.
