Pets2Places Franchise

Pets 2 Places are the leading provider of pet transport, established in 2014 by founder Claire Harris, now the country’s leading authority  and campaigner on pet transport and founder of awareness day; Pet Travel Safety Day. Pets 2 Places are a very unique service providing. Offering one to one care to each pet and owner. This is a bespoke service tailored to the individual needs of each customer.

Pets 2 Places has been running in the founding area of Milton Keynes for 10 years with Solihull starting in 2022 and Pontefract and Wakefield in 2023

We are looking for people who are animal lovers who genuinely like helping people. Who are very understanding and patient to support the additional needs of our older less abled customers. It would be beneficial to have come from a background of working with the elderly/less abled/learning needs but not essential as full training is given.

At Pets 2 Places no two days are the same, we transport to a variety of places including vets, groomers, kennels, cattery’s, even on holiday!

Each franchisee manages their own schedule to suit the needs of the company. Usual working hours are Monday- Friday 8am-6pm. We do not operate like a normal taxi with Saturday nights and drunk people. This is a safe working space mostly operated during the week, it is your choice if you want to include weekend days.

You will need to purchase a specific vehicle to run the franchise which we  fully equip with the best crash tested transport equipment and sign written as part of the buy in cost.

We provide everything you need to get you started, including marketing material, phone, phone number, page on the website, full training on the day to day operations as well as accounts, admin and operating in accordance with DEFRA, the animal welfare act and the high standards we set for our franchisees.

The pet industry is a growing industry with pets being the new kids, car ownership decreasing and in particular bespoke unique pet services topping the list as the fastest growing pet industry sector.

A pet taxi is the place to be right now.

This is a very unique opportunity to join a well established brand.

We have over 300 opportunities across the UK

We tailor the support and training to you as an individual, no two people are the same, we do not have a one size fits all mindset. If you have additional needs for yourself we can accommodate this and fully support you in running your own business.

Any interested parties please click “Request Free Info” and fill out the form. Please include relevant experience, and why you feel you will be the right person for this role

Pets 2 Places are growing across the UK and look forward to welcoming franchisees who want to run their own business but also be a part of a bigger supportive team.

“I was in a job I hated for 8 years. I was a cleaner in a vets. I suffered badly with mental health problems, it was not a happy work environment, I wanted to be a Vet Care Assistant, but they never supported me to do this. Since joining Pets 2 Places, I am so much happier, everyone who knows me says how happy I am now. I wish I had done this years ago. Its never too late, there’s no upper age for this role. I love my role here. If you are thinking about joining go for it.”

Hi guys I’m 6 months into owning and purchase of the Pets 2 places franchise up here in Pontefract & Wakefield, I’m not new to business so knew how much hard work setting a company is from scratch, however the leap frog in time that the franchise has give me is insane, For example the logos & sign writing all ready to go, Website is up and running from day one and no running costs which is fantastic. Flyers and posters again all done so no stress.

The uniforms again all sorted with out any time from my self along with training, hotels paid and booked for me, lunch on training all sorted, booked on a first aid course when dates suited myself all done, safety equipment and the correct and best on the market at this moment of review no corners cut or cheap alternative, So I’m banging on a bit but every single thing I needed I got for the flying start Even the best accountant in the UK so that’s worth its Weight in gold. So support is massive, Claire really puts the graft in to make everything run smooth and I’m still 6 months in drawing on her knowledge When you need anything or advice I simply pick up the phone and Boom !!! Claire has given me the time and that in its self is Amazing.

It feels Great being part of the Pets 2 Places Team, I love everyday is different.

Helping, Caring & working with pets & people is the best feeling in the world.

It’s a proven business model that works. Bottom line for me is “I get to leave my mark on the world”

Low Cost Franchises

So what is a low cost franchise? Well I suppose everyone will have a different definition of what they think a low cost opportunity is but for these purposes we will use an investment level of £15,000 or less as the guide price for a low cost franchise.

So does low cost therefore mean low earnings or profit? No, some low or even no upfront investment franchise or business opportunities can represent very high earnings potential. So why would a franchise business sell it a low cost even if the earnings potential was high? Well the initial franchise is generally determined by the cost to set-up which includes training, equipment, product and premises not the actual earnings potential. Sure sometimes with a recognized brand just the area alone will have a impact on the price as the largest the franchise area or territory, the more business will be obtained. That said that’s generally not the case for less known brands or new brands and if a franchise requires a lot of franchisees to provide national coverage and set-up costs are quite low then many will have an initial fee of under £15,000 to try to recruit as many franchisees as quickly as possible to grow their brand and provide a better service to their customers.

Some of the low cost franchises for sale under £15,000 include product distribution, pet related, children fitness and swimming, travel agency and even financial and business advice franchises so there is a huge choice of opportunity even if you are seeking a lower initial investment. The main thing to consider if the “overall” investment, just because a franchise has a low initial fee doesnt mean you won’t need to invest additional funds so when choosing a low cost franchise opportunity make sure you find out about all costs involved before you invest and as always seek professional advice.

Just because a franchise investment is low cost doesnt mean you should not carry out thorough research before you make any commitment. Regardless of initial investment check out the business and seek professional advice.
