Kidslingo is an award-winning children’s language programme which aims to give children the opportunity to learn both French and Spanish and find out more about the cultures and countries that speak them. This is done through a variety of different games, activities, stories, workshops, songs, Makaton instruction and drama lessons that engage with a child’s imagination and give them a better ability to recall what they have learned.
Children have an innate ability to pick up languages much more quickly and easily than adults do which is why it is seen as vital to start as early on as possible if they are to learn an additional language. This second language will stand them in good stead when they reach secondary school, university and the world of work.
The Kidslingo classes are taught in many different places such as preschools and nurseries, primary schools, home education groups, with child minders and at after school clubs. Through the franchised network over 8,000 children are taught using the Kidslingo method every week.
Turning language learning into a fun experience rather than something dry in a classroom has a uniquely positive effect on all the children involved and can lead them to want to find out more about other countries around the world.
