Based in Cheshire, Evolution Childcare provides high quality childcare and preschool education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Founded 15 years ago by Rob and Sue Jones, the business has established itself as an industry leader with an ‘Outstanding’ award from Ofsted, Warrington Business of the Year 2007 for staff training and development, a Platinum Food Safety award and ROSPA two tick awards in Health and Safety and Disability.
Both owners have considerable experience in childcare. Not only parents themselves, Rob is an ex-Liverpool and England football player who now mentors for the Under 19 and Under 21 Liverpool Academy teams and Sue, an ex-professional Tennis coach is also NVQ 4 qualified in Nursery Nursing. Bringing their collective passion and enthusiasm together has allowed them to focus on hiring the most dedicated staff with impeccable child care credentials.
The highly-professional staff are regularly given in-house training to update their skills, which are passed on to the children through play activities with educational goals. Evolution Childcare are keen to support parents by working with them as part of the team. It is strongly encouraged to engage in two-way flows of information, knowledge and skills to better enhance the child’s experience. There are also regular opportunities for assessment through parents’ evenings, shared record keeping and fun social events.
