A childcare franchise which promotes flexibility, freedom & fun as part of the Fun Fest family
Childcare is big business and ambitious Fun Fest franchisees with multiple clubs have the potential to earn a six-figure income.
What is Fun Fest?
Fun Fest Holiday Clubs give children the freedom to choose from a menu of exciting activity sessions every morning and afternoon to design their own individual holiday programme. During their week at Fun Fest, a child can get the chance to play Quidditch, build a den, bake a cake, learn to juggle, score a goal, solve a mystery, paint a masterpiece, hold a snake, have a manicure and enjoy a party!
The ethos of empowering children and embracing their individuality sets Fun Fest apart from traditional holiday childcare services and enables the brand to extend into other services such as wraparound care and children’s parties.
Success
Having built a reputation for quality childcare with Ofsted, schools and parents, the network of Fun Fest Holiday Clubs has grown steadily since its launch in 2017 to over 40 clubs, generating revenue in excess of £3 million per annum.
What makes Fun Fest successful is its focus on providing exceptional childcare services and building a network of satisfied franchisees who can scale their business to make significant returns from a seasonal business.
Franchisees are training to become Ofsted nominated individuals and, with the ongoing training and support from the team of highly skilled and experienced childcare professionals, all Ofsted inspections to date have been completed successfully.
Members of the BFA and EWIF and listed in the Elite Franchise list of the UK’s Top 100 franchises for 6 years running, Fun Fest won this year’s award for continual improvement in franchisee satisfaction.

Meeting the needs of today’s parents
The demand for childcare is high due to the challenges faced by today’s parents. More parents are working full-time with a reduced childcare support network, resulting in limited childcare options. Fun Fest solves this problem by offering reliable, quality childcare provision for all primary age children from as young as 3 years old.

Rewards

From this, franchisees can scale up by running multiple clubs and wraparound services.

School finding services: We analyse and contact suitable schools within your territory, market Fun Fest to them, attend meetings and write a proposal.
Marketing: Pre-launch digital marketing package to include SEO, Google and social media advertising campaigns.
Operational Support: Operations manual, Tool boxes, Route to Opening Plan and director/mentor to guide you through the process.
Training: A mixture of online and face to face training, including your Ofsted Nominated Individual training and a week working in a club to get experience of every role within a club.
Regulatory Licence: Fun Fest will work with you to gain your Ofsted licence and to adhere to Ofsted regulations and guidelines, preparing you for your Ofsted inspection.
Website: Each club has its own website page to promote its services & where customers register, book and pay for their childcare. It has an associated Management App to take care of club administration & provide access to live Management information.

Low Cost Franchises
So what is a low cost franchise? Well I suppose everyone will have a different definition of what they think a low cost opportunity is but for these purposes we will use an investment level of £15,000 or less as the guide price for a low cost franchise.
So does low cost therefore mean low earnings or profit? No, some low or even no upfront investment franchise or business opportunities can represent very high earnings potential. So why would a franchise business sell it a low cost even if the earnings potential was high? Well the initial franchise is generally determined by the cost to set-up which includes training, equipment, product and premises not the actual earnings potential. Sure sometimes with a recognized brand just the area alone will have a impact on the price as the largest the franchise area or territory, the more business will be obtained. That said that’s generally not the case for less known brands or new brands and if a franchise requires a lot of franchisees to provide national coverage and set-up costs are quite low then many will have an initial fee of under £15,000 to try to recruit as many franchisees as quickly as possible to grow their brand and provide a better service to their customers.
Some of the low cost franchises for sale under £15,000 include product distribution, pet related, children fitness and swimming, travel agency and even financial and business advice franchises so there is a huge choice of opportunity even if you are seeking a lower initial investment. The main thing to consider if the “overall” investment, just because a franchise has a low initial fee doesnt mean you won’t need to invest additional funds so when choosing a low cost franchise opportunity make sure you find out about all costs involved before you invest and as always seek professional advice.
Just because a franchise investment is low cost doesnt mean you should not carry out thorough research before you make any commitment. Regardless of initial investment check out the business and seek professional advice.
