Cost Centre Services Ltd was founded in 2000 by Simon Binks as a business energy consultancy firm, aiming to assist businesses with their business energy management and procurement. With offices based in Norwich, UK, Cost Centre Services has a team of professionals helping companies streamline their energy costings. Lead by Simon Binks, who is CIBSE registered low carbon consultant, the business works with all sized companies from SME’s to small charities and even farms.

The team has been leading the way within the industry by developing a new online energy management system, EnergiPlan+. The system helps businesses learn the best and most financially efficient ways to cut gas and electricity costs, improving their profit margins and therefore benefiting their bottom line.

Cost Centre Services Ltd manages over 1800 clients and negotiates individual contracts worth £1 million plus. By starting the process getting to know each and every one of their business clients, the team at Cost Centre Services analyses energy use, creating a validation report, which allows clients to quickly and easily assess their energy usage and gain knowledge and advice on how to save money, gain refunds and switch to better contracts.

Accountancy & Financial Franchises

According to the Financial Times Legal & accountancy businesses including franchises and their employees generated a staggering £15.5bn ix taxes in 2016 and employed around 690,000 workers. Whilst some accountancy franchises are based from offices and shops many are home based businesses so with the growing demand for these services it is a very attractive sector when considering a career change via franchising.

As with any franchise with financial or accountant franchises you will get full training and support, helping you through any regulations and red tape by experience and qualified professionals. If providing the services into small businesses its easy to see how this could be a growing business as well the businesses you have as clients grow, so does their demand for more services which probably makes this a lower risk proposition than some businesses.

This sort of franchise would suit someone that loves meeting people and has some white collar or managerial experience but the beauty of franchising is it allows people to change career direction easily.
