Artful Toddler is an arts and craft group that works specifically with preschool children, encouraging a love of art and developing fine motor skills and imagination along the way. Arty, the company mascot, is always on hand to help children explore their creative sides so that they really do get the most out of each and every lesson.
The founders of Artful Toddler had an aim to ensure that little minds could be as creative as possible in a safe, secure setting and this is why Artful Toddler was born.
Small class sizes mean that children aren’t distracted and can happily get on with their own work whilst making friends which enhances and encourages creativity.
Each session lasts for 45 minutes which includes 30 minutes of creativity and 15 minutes of play. This is the optimum time for young children to be able to concentrate on a task and each class is designed so that an entire project can be completed in one sitting. Parents are encouraged to help where needed, although in many cases they simply need to supervise; even very young children can easily get caught up in what they are doing and not ask for assistance which is ideal for teaching confidence and independence.
