As a Coteq Architectural Franchisee, your role will be to design, model, document, and collaborate on building projects.
Your new business requires little experience of the construction industry (but could prove beneficial) and the planning process but does need your enthusiasm to learn and realise the dreams and aspirations of your clients.
Whether your experience and interests lie in design, architecture or construction you will quickly learn new activities to augment your existing skill set which will add value to your new business.
The software we use, and the process we have developed eliminates time wasting by producing a blueprint of the right design for the client on the first visit. By producing this visual model with the client, you are engaging them in the design process which will ensure they are getting what they want before you leave the site, reducing need for further visits.

Software Modules:
Training for these modules will be provided at the offices of our software partner in Nottingham and ongoing support for operational franchisees will be provided by Coteq through either e-mail, telephone, PC remote access or VoIP.
- Get started with the basics: Measurement, shapes and outline plan
- Sharpen up the images to produce a professional 3 dimensional drawing
- Input of measurements and calculations of values for building control
- Production of the completed documentation and images
Planning and Building Control:
- Understanding the planning cycle
- How to submit your clients plans to the local authority
- How to calculate the values and process the building regulations
- Monitor and control of the planning cycle
- What to do if something is not quite right and rejected
Accounting, Insurance and Legal Documentation:
- General accounting and costing
- Credit control
- Liability insurance
