Morris & Co is a firm of Chartered Accountants who specialise in the franchise sector. We are proud to be an Affiliated Professional Adviser of the British Franchise Association (BFA), and Phil Harrison, our franchise specialist, heads the team with over 25 years experience advising both franchisors and franchisees. Phil regularly undertakes training seminars on behalf of the BFA for prospective franchisees and as such he is in an ideal position for advising anyone considering purchasing a franchise operation.
Our franchise department continues to grow with a number of new clients appointing us to act on their behalf in recent months. Several more franchisors have also nominated us as their network accountants, thereby ensuring that all their franchisees’ accounts are produced in the same format.
As nominated network accountants we are able to offer initial and ongoing advice to potential and new franchisees. The franchisor is safe in the knowledge that its franchisees will be educated and trained to maintain proper accounting records and each month/quarter both franchisee and franchisor will receive accurate management accounts on a timely basis.
With a specialist and dedicated franchise department working entirely with franchise businesses, Morris & Co are able to offer a range of services from bookkeeping to accounts production using franchisees own records. We are able to tailor individual packages for each client or franchise network and offer ‘fixed fees’ with no hidden extras. This, together with our wealth of accounting and commercial experience, ensures that both the franchisor and franchisees benefit from our position as the network’s nominated accountant.
