New York City nails (NYC nails) has been operating in Northern Ireland since 2004. Their first salon on the Lisburn Road, Belfast was an instant hit and the company has never looked back.

“We opened almost one nail bar a month for two years and still couldn’t keep up with demand due to the fact we were a relatively small company,” said Company Director Tiernan Lynch.

In the subsequent 2 years they have opened 22 outlets throughout the UK and Ireland. NYC nails was awarded a concession agreement within Debenhams Department Stores to establish 54 Nail Bars over a three-year period. The growth has been nothing short of phenomenal and now the company is bracing itself for further expansion into the franchise market. As a franchisee you will have the opportunity to operate a Nail Bar or Nail Salon as your own business with support provided by the experienced team at NYC nails. We currently offer 3 levels of franchise, allowing you to offer a range of nail treatments in a location chosen by you and agreed by NYC nails. Franchise package

You will be joining an experienced team with a proven track record in setting up and running a successful Nail Bar operation. For example, when you become a Nail Bar Franchisee you will receive all of the equipment necessary to get started (including a deep discount on all O.P.I products) and undertake a training programme that covers technical skills, product knowledge, sales training, operations management, and the NYC nails Operations Manual. Marketing Support will also be provided, including 4 professional promotions each year and ongoing public relations.

What do we look for in franchisees?

If you are a qualified Nail Technician (NVQ Level 2) and have at least two years experience in a salon environment.

If you would like to invest in a Franchise opportunity and are prepared to employ someone who meets the above criterion.

In addition, you should be self-motivated, willing to invest in your future career and committed to working within a system which has been developed generally over the past 25 years and more specifically by NYC nails over the past two years, a system which can give you the best return on your investment.
