Kitchen & Bedroom Transformations offers a complete refurbishment service, transforming an old kitchen or bedroom by fitting new doors, drawer fronts and worktops at a fraction the cost of a new kitchen or bedroom.
We have been in business for almost as long as the replacement door market, which started in the early 90s but only really took off with the arrival of the mass produced, vinyl door in 1996. Today these doors are produced in an enormous range of designs and colours. At less than a quarter of the price they cost 10 years ago, in real terms, you will see the enormous potential for a high profit margin business.
You have only to look in the Yellow Pages to see how few “transformation” companies there are compared to those who will fit a new kitchen or bedroom. We know that there is a huge untapped and rapidly expanding market for a business which can offer a local and personal “transformation” service. That’s where you come in – we are currently looking for franchisees around the country to enable us offer this local and personal service to customers on a nationwide basis.
Who are we looking for?
Franchisees do not need any prior experience of this type of business as full training is given, both in the initial training program and on an on-going basis. However, the following skills would be useful:
- some knowledge of DIY - to help you to organize and instruct fitters
- basic computer skills - to help you run the business, record customer enquiries and produce quotations
- a friendly, outgoing personality – for dealing with customers.
High pressure selling skills are not required.
What is involved?
As a franchisee you will place advertisements locally for business (in addition to dealing with the customer enquires generated by our website), visit prospective customers to prepare quotations and run the office on a day-to-day basis using a computer. You will normally appoint a kitchen fitter to carry out the “transformations” and will then visit jobs in progress, to ensure they progress smoothly and that the customer is happy.
After an initial period, you will need to move into retail premises which will enable you to maximise the sales potential of your exclusive sales area. The franchise fee (£15,500 plus VAT) includes all the door samples you will need to fit out your showroom as well as the signwriting for your shop and van. We also provide the software you need to run your business (including CAD software for drawing kitchens), sales aids, stationery, specialist tools and more.
We will give you a full week’s initial training course and support and train you on an ongoing basis to ensure your success. Your success is our success, so we are committed to ensuring that you succeed.
