ElecLocal Electrician Franchise Training
The ElecLocal training lasts for 3 months beginning with 6 weeks at the training centre where franchisees complete the City & Guilds 2381, 2377-02, and 2391 . Franchisees then undertake 4 weeks of work experience with qualified electricians. Once this stage has been completed ElecLocal franchisees are Part P qualified. The final stage of the franchise training covers business and marketing, customer care and use of technology. Franchisees are trained on the ElecLocal operating systems and accounting packages which help each franchisee to run their franchise business.
Once trained and qualified ElecLocal franchisees are able to:
- Do domestic wiring and re-wiring
- Install additional sockets and lighting
- Install external wiring
- Undertake all electrical installation repairs
- Install earth bonding
- Carry out electrical safety tests.
In addition, ElecLocal franchisees can provide the following further services:
- Install aerial and satellite installation
- Install security lighting services
- Do portable appliance testing (PAT)
