The Training & Recruitment Franchise

TWO BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN ONE!

If you are looking for a business with solid foundations then look no further than a DTT franchise. After all a franchisor whose parent company is a listed Plc and who take their role as franchisors very seriously, as British Franchise Association members, by having a franchise agreement drawn up by one of the leading franchise solicitors and by having franchisor advisors from the outset.

But there is much more than that, a DTT Franchise is very much a management franchise not a job, not only does it have an accredited ISO 9001:2000 operating system, denoting a quality of operations but most importantly and most excitingly it is two businesses in one. Yes that is right, two business opportunities within one great Management proposition.

This means that you have two income streams, increased turnover and all things being equal increased profits. How, by operating a Training and Recruitment business that has such great synergies that both business streams perfectly compliment each other.

The Driver Supply recruitment business places drivers into companies to work on a temporary and permanent basis, building relationships not only with the drivers but with the companies as well.

The Driver Transport Training business builds relationships with companies to train their staff, the same companies who relationships can be built with for placing staff. Also private individuals looking to upgrade their own skills or move into the transport industry under go training and then Driver Supply can place them into work.

So it is very much a partnerships of complimenting businesses focusing on Driver Transport Training and Driver Supply and the good news is DTT Franchise partners no need experience of the transport industry, nor of training or recruitment, as a management franchise what is needed is management and sales experience.

The DTT training programme is so comprehensive that everything one needs to know to operate the business is taught and shown. This commences at the outset, the Start Up process and initial training focuses on compiling a business plan from the bespoke DTT start up software, through to help arranging bank finance, locating fit for purpose premises and recruitment and selection of suitable staff, as well as a comprehensive Start up manual.

Then the training proper begins, two weeks residential training, that is a mixture of presentation styles from PowerPoint to discussions, group work and role-plays all designed to fully introduce the new franchise partners into how the business operates, in fact by the end of the period, the “classroom” has been transferred into an “office” so that all of the ISO system can be introduced and practiced in a safe environment.

But it does not end there either, the Set Up process comes next when everything is put in place to ensure that the new franchise partner is happy in what they are doing and understands the system to follow and then the 90 day nurturing programme begins.

After 30, 60 and 90 days every new franchise partner is given feedback based on information received from their customers about how they are performing and perceived as well as reviewing the business plan and office performance. All to ensure that new franchise partners are performing to their optimum and also preparing them for evaluation and eventual ISO 9001:2000 audit and accreditation.

The support however continues for the lifetime of the franchise, regional managers in addition to the Head Office team make regular visits, hold regional meetings and a representative marketing forum decides on what and how to spend the marketing budget.

With regular personal and telephone contact you truly are never on your own.

And what a Head Office and Support Team there is in place, lead from the top by Plc Chief Executive Brian Hewitt. Brian has over 30 year’s experience of the transport and recruitment sectors from hands on practical experience.

He is assisted by Finance Director Chris Holmes who is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years recruitment sector and franchise experience and in the Midlands and South West Len Thompson has over 10 years of running a franchise region also in recruitment and the Eastern region has Nick Mecrow with over 18 years sales and marketing experience with two top blue chip companies.

Backing them up and undertaking the Set up, Training and Start up process and coordinating efforts at Head Office is Paul Van der Hulks who has 20 years of Training, Recruitment and Selection and Customer Service experience.

What a team to support another great team, the franchise partners who are building strong successful businesses under the DTT banner of Driver Transport Training and Driver Supply.
