Our service provides a full service including collection and delivery, making sure that the stress to your client and the pet are kept to a minimum.
Our service caters for a variety of dogs such as senior, rescue, on medication, shy or pampered.
Running your petcare franchise business
By running your business from home, you can keep overheads to a minimum. The customers make payment in advance of the service allowing you peace of mind from having to chase up debtors.
The pet care franchise inventory does not include a van. This is so you can make the decision to choose a vehicle you believe would be best suited for transporting pets and their belongings. The car must be silver grey in colour and there is a suggested list of makes and models provided by Barking Mad.
The vehicle liveried will display the Barking Mad logo, local telephone number and web site address. This will allow promotion of your franchise wherever your vehicle is used, whether it be for social or business occasions.
Barking Mad is not a seasonally driven business, as shown within the swiftly growing franchising network.

Becoming a Barking Mad franchisee
If you decide that you would like to become a Barking Mad franchisee, we will:
- Provide a five day training programme at head office detailing systems and procedures used in Barking Mad including marketing and sales, accounts, pet behaviour and day to day operations.
- Arrange for advertising within your local area through the first eight weeks of trading.
- Pay for one year to be included in the yellow pages.
- Once you have settled into your own business, work with you in your own territory. We will contact local media with your Barking Mad story to newspapers, radio and TV stations.
- Allow you to access our online franchise forum.
- Send you regular weekly correspondence with invitations to regional meetings and seminars.
- Send an invitation to the Barking Mad Annual National Conference held in May each year in the Lake District. This lasts for a full weekend.
