Vinyl Transformations

Sign*A*Rama York has transformed the look and fortunes of The Corner Shop in Heslington, York.
Mike Symons from Sign*A*Rama said “We were called by the Corner Shop prior to the business being sold. The outside of the store was looking very tired and run down and the owner at the time felt that it would benefit from a vibrant new exterior.
The work we undertook included new ‘Reynobond’ fascia panels, aluminium frames and lighting. To help entice trade into the store we used digital prints and vinyl lettering on the glass windows to give potential customers an idea of what is on sale inside. For consistency we used Metamark 7 year vinyl to match the shop’s new bright red painted woodwork. To give the shop added visibility in the evening, we installed new overhead lighting.”
Mete Cekic, the new owner of The Corner Shop is delighted with the colourful new look and has reported that customers are saying how much more visible it is. The new exterior has also helped to bring new customers to the shop, with many of them saying that they weren’t aware of the store before.
