Boxing Franchise Kicks Close to 50

Total number of franchises reaches 49 nationwide as area developer signs lease for 4th location.

LA BOXING Franchise Corporation, a membership physical fitness franchise company consisting of unique boxing and kickboxing training regimens which utilize a system and products that are proprietary to LA Boxing, announced that it has signed its 4th franchise agreement for further expansion into the Greater Los Angeles marketplace with the Sean Riley Group.

Mr. Riley’s group owns 4 LA BOXING franchises in Valencia, Long Beach, Garden Grove and Huntington Beach, California. The group has signed a lease for the Huntington Beach location and the gym is expected to open in early 2007.

"We are currently negotiating the lease for Sean’s 5th location which we expect to conclude in the next 30 days," said Anthony Geisler, President, LA BOXING Franchise Corporation. “The LA BOXING brand continues to dominate cardio boxing and kickboxing marketplace in southern California, and we are very fortunate to have a group with senior management experience in the retail sporting goods business.”

“Jeff’s group is on schedule to open 10 LA BOXING franchises by the end of 2007,” said Carl Kosnar, Franchise Consultant to LA BOXING Franchise Corporation. “His team’s combined business experience in the national retail sporting goods business provides us with a franchisee that has the appreciation of a franchise with image awareness and national brand recognition.”

LA BOXING has grown to 49 franchises in 14 states since September, 2004, when it began its franchise marketing program. The Company anticipates continuing its growth at the rate of 3 to 4 franchises per month in the remainder of 2006.

LA BOXING currently employs an experienced staff of over 30 people and has 14 years of experience in the fitness industry. LA BOXING is the gym of preference for amateur and professional athletes and people in the mainstream who are dedicated to leading fit and healthy lives.

Potential LA BOXING franchisees are required to pay a $25,000 franchise fee which is included in the $95,400 to $109,650 of capital needed to get started. Location options range from retail strip shopping centres to freestanding commercial buildings.
