Sonic Golf, the United Kingdom and Ireland’s first golf club cleaning franchise said it is pleased to hear of two Chelsea Pensioners - military veterans from the Royal Chelsea Hospital in London – who are due to arrive in Bahrain next Tuesday for a week-long holiday organised by the Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF).

Pensioners Gerald George Johnson, 81, and Philip Roy Taylor, 65, are to stay in Bahrain until November 12 as guests of the BBBF. They are sponsored by British Airways and will be staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel, courtesy of the hotel. The pensioners, known for their distinctive red uniforms, live in the Royal Chelsea Hospital, which is a home for army veterans founded by King Charles II in 1682.

The BBBF has been flying Chelsea Pensioners to Bahrain as special guests each year since 1997. In the past, the pensioners have attended the Poppy Day Ball, which is a long-standing British tradition to commemorate war victims and raise money for charity.

Well drilled veterans will know the value of time and effort saving equipment such as Sonic Golf’s club cleaning machine. With Sonic Golf’s ultrasonic cleaning machine, golfing veterans can spare hours of buffing, spit and polish. In just two minute a whole set of clubs is brought back to shine. To help clubs meet customer demand, Sonic Golf’s innovative golf club cleaner, a system designed to help players gain and maintain a competitive edge, is being offered as a fast deploying franchise.

The United Kingdom manufactured ultrasonic golf cleaning machine will help keep elite clubs in perfect order, boost performance and confidence by returning club heads to a perfectly clean finish, accompanied by a fresh, tacky grip. The Sonic Golf franchise team, is based their winning formula on a three year pilot operation, putting the model to market at a time of solid and continuing golf market growth.

Sonic Golf’s start-up franchise fee of £14,995 + VAT is set to attract first time investors and existing golf service suppliers. The first six franchises come at a tidy £9,995 + VAT. A spokesman for Sonic Golf said the new venture offers huge potential earnings, ten machines are expected to generate £44,500 in annual revenue, and 30 machines can target revenue of £133,500 per annum.

The franchise is available immediately said a spokesman for Sonic Golf, he added: “We are providing a well-supported, dependable franchise with a clear market value. Sonic Golf is developing its market for golf services, expanding strongly, and is well-positioned to meet the demand for quality golf club cleaning equipment.”

About Sonic Golf

Sonic Golf is the UK’s first golf club cleaning franchise. The company recently launched a unique golf franchise with the United Kingdom and Ireland, following successful completion of its business pilot. A spokesperson for Sonic Golf said: “We provide the golf club cleaning machines, and all other equipment, to franchisees based on a rental agreement. We also offer extensive marketing and management support.”

He added: “The simplicity of the Sonic Golf business model means that franchisees don’t need to do the billing. Sonic Golf deals with billing on behalf of franchisees. With a minimum of administration required, Sonic Golf lets franchisees get straight into driving their business.”

The Sonic Golf golf club cleaning system is based on solid ultrasonic technology. It has been used for over forty years to clean medical, electronic and other high precision equipment. Ultrasonics produce millions of tiny bubbles in solution, these bubbles implode when they come into contact with any additional surface. This quickly, and safely, removes any surface contamination.”

Ultrasonic technology works so effectively when cleaning golf clubs because the solution reaches all parts of the club head, gripping dirt and other contamination more quickly and effectively than any other cleaning method.
