Sonic Golf Franchise Could have Helped Howell
Posted on: 16/10/2006
UK golf equipment franchisor, Sonic Golf, the United Kingdom and Ireland’s first golf club cleaning franchise, has just the thing for tired golfers. David Howell, has admitted that the Dunhill Links tournament was, “an event too far.” If only he’d been using the new ultrasonic club cleaner, he could have had an extra hour in bed!
Howell’s admission came as he missed the cut. He birdied three of his last five holes at Carnoustie to card a highly creditable 70, but still missed the cut by some distance as he struggled with the recurrence of a shoulder injury.
Ireland's Padraig Harrington claimed the 10th European Tour title of his career in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews. Harrington carded a final round of 68 at the Old Course for a five-shot victory over Anthony Wall, American Edward Loar and overnight leader Bradley Dredge. Harrington’s first prize of £427,441 puts him in second place on the European Tour Order of Merit behind Ryder Cup team-mate Paul Casey.

About Sonic Golf
Sonic Golf is the UK’s first golf club cleaning franchise. The company recently launched a unique golf franchise with the United Kingdom and Ireland, following successful completion of its business pilot. A spokesperson for Sonic Golf said: “We provide the golf club cleaning machines, and all other equipment, to franchisees based on a rental agreement. We also offer extensive marketing and management support.”
He added: “The simplicity of the Sonic Golf business model means that franchisees don’t need to do the billing. Sonic Golf deals with billing on behalf of franchisees. With a minimum of administration required, Sonic Golf lets franchisees get straight into driving their business.”
The Sonic Golf golf club cleaning system is based on solid ultrasonic technology. It has been used for over forty years to clean medical, electronic and other high precision equipment. Ultrasonics produce millions of tiny bubbles in solution, these bubbles implode when they come into contact with any additional surface. This quickly, and safely, removes any surface contamination.”
Ultrasonic technology works so effectively when cleaning golf clubs because the solution reaches all parts of the club head, gripping dirt and other contamination more quickly and effectively than any other cleaning method.
