Clockwork Acquires Home Services Franchise

Clockwork Home Services, Inc. has announced its acquisition of Nashville-based Tab Hunter's One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating franchise and Tab Hunter's Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise. For 2005, these two franchises collectively generated total revenue of approximately $5 million. Effective immediately, they will now become wholly owned and operated units of Clockwork.
Under terms of Clockwork's acquisition, Tab Hunter is joining Clockwork's management team as Vice President of Franchise Sales for the company's Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating (One Hour) subsidiaries. Mr. Hunter's appointment is effective immediately. He will be based in Clockwork's corporate headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In his new capacity, Mr. Hunter is responsible for marketing, sales of new One Hour and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise territories and management of sales staff.

Prior to joining Clockwork, Mr. Hunter was the owner and president of Nashville, Tennessee-based Tab Hunter's One Hour and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Tab Hunter's One Hour and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing are recognized as one of the fastest-growing home services HVAC and plumbing franchises in the Nashville area and within Clockwork's franchise network.
From 2004 through 2006, Mr. Hunter's company experienced over 60% revenue growth and saw its customer base expand significantly in the Nashville metropolitan area.
