Sonic Golf Franchise Welcomes UK Golf's National Skills Challenge

Sonic Golf, the United Kingdom and Ireland’s first golf club cleaning franchise, has said it welcomes UK golf’s first ever National Skills Challenge Final.

Sonic Golf, the United Kingdom and Ireland’s first golf club cleaning franchise, has said it welcomes the first ever National Skills Challenge Final. On Saturday September 16th, young golfers from across England will tee-off at the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa, which is hosting the Skills Challenge.

A spokesman for Sonic Golf praised the English Golf Union and the English Ladies Golf Association for their innovative programme which is set to quicken the pace of an already strong golf market.

The National Skills Challenge is a joint initiative of the English Golf Union and the English Ladies Golf Association, funded via England Golf’s ‘Whole Sport Plan for Golf’, that seeks to encourage youngsters to get into golf.  70 golf clubs across England signed up to take part this year and over 660 juniors registered online to participate in the National Skills Challenge 2006. Participating golf clubs ran three Skills Challenges between April and August.

The United Kingdom and Ireland’s golf market, now valued in excess of £1bn, is generally associated with higher profile marketing groups demonstrating deeper accessible incomes. Growing that market, and jumping the expected growth curve, will depend in part, on broadening the appeal of golf across age groups.

The young golf player group is a sector Sonic Golf is keen to connect with. As the UK and Ireland golf market continues to grow, and after three years running a pilot operation, Sonic Golf is now offering a unique ultrasonic golf club cleaning franchise within the UK and Ireland.

In its first year, the National Skills Challenge has aimed to encourage young people at golf clubs to ‘have a go’ and participate with others in order to develop their golfing skills in a fun and enjoyable environment. Making club cleaning easy is instinctively good for encouraging young golfers - high maintenance equipment is inclined to diminish sporting interest.

With this in mind, Sonic Golf has developed a golf club cleaning franchise for the UK and Ireland. The simplicity of the new Sonic Golf golf club cleaning franchise is its capacity to provide golf facilities with an instantly improved offering

Sonic Golf’s start-up franchise fee of £14,995 + VAT is set to attract first time investors and existing golf service suppliers. The first six franchises come at a tidy £9,995 + VAT. A spokesman for Sonic Golf said the new venture offers huge potential earnings, ten machines are expected to generate £44,500 in annual revenue, and 30 machines can target revenue of £133,500 per annum.

The franchise is available immediately said a spokesman for Sonic Golf, he added: “We are providing a well-supported, dependable franchise with a clear market value. Sonic Golf is developing its market for golf services, expanding strongly, and is well-positioned to meet the demand for quality golf club cleaning equipment.”

With a booming golf market in the UK and Ireland, and new courses emerging continually, now is the time to invest in the sport of gentlemen, and big cats.

About Sonic Golf
Sonic Golf is the UK’s first golf club cleaning franchise. The company recently launched a unique golf franchise with the United Kingdom and Ireland, following successful completion of its business pilot. A spokesperson for Sonic Golf said: “We provide the golf club cleaning machines, and all other equipment, to franchisees based on a rental agreement. We also offer extensive marketing and management support.”

He added: “The simplicity of the Sonic Golf business model means that franchisees don’t need to do the billing. Sonic Golf deals with billing on behalf of franchisees. With a minimum of administration required, Sonic Golf lets franchisees get straight into driving their business.”

The Sonic Golf golf club cleaning system is based on solid ultrasonic technology. It has been used for over forty years to clean medical, electronic and other high precision equipment. Ultrasonics produce millions of tiny bubbles in solution, these bubbles implode when they come into contact with any additional surface. This quickly, and safely, removes any surface contamination.”

Ultrasonic technology works so effectively when cleaning golf clubs because the solution reaches all parts of the club head, gripping dirt and other contamination more quickly and effectively than any other cleaning method.
