LA Boxing Continues Franchise Expansion into San Diego County

LA Boxing Franchise Corporation, a national operator of distinctive cardio boxing and kickboxing health and fitness gyms, announced today the signing of its first franchise in San Diego County, California. The new franchise was awarded to Richard and Nicole Montano, a multi-unit LA BOXING franchisee. The sale of the Carlsbad, California, area is the 45th franchise that LA BOXING Franchise Corporation has awarded nationwide.
Continued success in the third quarter of 2006 can be attributed in large part to the vision of President and CEO, Anthony Geisler. Since launching franchise sales in the late fall of 2004, Geisler has expanded the original company-owned gym into a 13-state fitness business through extensive franchising and a solid business model.
Each gym offers 35 to 40 classes a week; today’s LA BOXING brand has grown to include numerous class formats, a line of branded fitness apparel, and a gym environment that accommodates amateur and professional athletes and people in the mainstream who are dedicated to leading fit and healthy lives.

Potential LA BOXING franchisees are required to pay a $25,000 franchise fee which is included in the $95,400 to $109,650 range of capital needed to get started. Location options range from retail strip shopping centres to freestanding commercial buildings. Absolutely no previous boxing, kickboxing, training or health and fitness experience is necessary to qualify for an LA BOXING franchise.
