"For more than 20 years, Hyatt Regency Greenville has welcomed guests from all over world to the heart of our great city," said Nancy Dudak, general manager, Hyatt Regency Greenville. "Not only are we conveniently located near Greenville's acclaimed cultural attractions and an award-winning revitalized downtown, but with this renovation, we're also capturing the essence of relaxed elegance and adding the convenience of in-room technology as well as comfortable, contemporary new products. When guests check in, they can take advantage of all the amenities today's travellers crave and most importantly, stroll right out from our dramatic atrium lobby onto tree-lined, culturally-rich, jazz-filled downtown streets."
From floor to ceiling, each guestroom will undergo a complete renovation to capture a contemporary décor featuring a warm palette of cocoa with a touch of sage, rich wood, leather furnishings and detailed accessories. Each guestroom will offer Hyatt's Grand Bed featuring a bed base and box spring with a custom-designed fitted cover, which and creates a sleek and clean look and eliminates the need for a traditional bed frame and dust ruffle.
The mattress is a Sealy Posturepedic® 720 Series, one of the highest quality mattresses on the market. Hyatt will also replace the bedspreads with 21-ounce down duvets and oversized feather pillows as well as 250-thread-count triple sheeting. The rooms will also tout new workstations with an oversized desk, wireless Internet access and a 32-inch LCD flat-panel television.
To compliment the new guestroom décor, the hotel will re-carpet its 24,000 square feet of meeting space. The carpet ties together the property's new modern look incorporating warm browns with accents of teal, and offers a new, sophisticated environment for special events and meetings.
