Big Bad Buffalo Franchise Goes Orange
Posted on: 16/08/2006
Buffalo Exchange franchise to open shop in the Orange County.
The hip buy-sell-trade clothing store Buffalo Exchange will open its third store in the OC area in mid- to late September 2006 in Fullerton, California.
Costa Mesa’s Daily Pilot says Buffalo Exchange is “Orange County’s source for hip, used clothing at bargain prices” (4/21/05). Buffalo Exchange was voted Best Trading Up in LA Weekly’s Best of L.A. 2005. Buffalo Exchange is unique because clothing and accessories are bought, sold and traded directly with store customers. Used clothes can be traded for any item in the store, including jewellery and new clothing.
The ever-changing inventory includes designer wear, basics, vintage, jeans, leather, and one-of-a-kind items. As of Sep 2006, the resale clothing store chain will have 28 stores and 5 franchises in 11 states, with $40 million a year in sales.
