Swisher franchise reaps awards in 2006.
Taking stock of 2006, Swisher has reported a highly successful and eventful year. Not only was the company a finalist in the Franchisor of the Year Award 2006, Swisher also came runner up in the Best Advertisement Award and won the award for the Best Franchise Recruitment Team at the Franchise Marketing Awards 2006.
Swisher has also made a number of promotions within Swisher Corporate to enhance the unparalleled corporate support provided to franchisees, resulting in 1.8 franchisees for every corporate support member.
Jeffrey Keen, who introduced Swisher to the UK in 1997, has become Chairman of the Company. David Whelan, previously Franchise Director, has been promoted to Managing Director, and Dennis Kinnersley, formerly Franchise Manager, has become Chief Operations Officer.
Lucy Molland, National Business Development Manager, and David Walters, Business Development Manager, have joined the company. Both Lucy and David were previously in senior sales roles for national companies within the washroom sector.
In addition to its unique core service of weekly washroom sanitation, Swisher also provides additional products enabling its customers to receive the total washroom solution. The new Prestige Range of dispensers has been added to the Swisher portfolio of products that they provide to customers, which includes offices, factories, shops, hospitals, nursing homes, leisure centres, restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs. Swisher's blue chip customers includes B&Q, Burger King, Carphone Warehouse, Costa Coffee, Esso, Living Well Health Clubs, Mecca Bingo, Ministry of Defence, NHS Trust, Odeon Cinemas, Pizza Hut, Roadchef, Royal Bank of Scotland, Shell and Texaco.
