Its Hot At The Top - Kiln Appoint New BDM

Kiln plc, which owns leading Lloyd's managing agent R J Kiln & Company, has appointed Roger Bickmore to lead the company's business development function. He joins the company from Aon Underwriting Management, where he was managing director. Mr Bickmore will be spearheading Kiln's drive to develop new and existing markets and sources of business. Working closely with the underwriting and research and development teams at Kiln, he will identify and develop ways to maximise the Kiln franchise around the world.
Commenting on the appointment, Kiln's chief executive officer Edward Creasy said: 'The appointment of Roger Bickmore to the role of business development manager at Kiln is the logical next step in Kiln's well established strategy of building strong, mutually beneficial relationships, developing a variety of revenue
streams and maximising the impact of our strong brand. Roger's appointment represents an exciting step in Kiln's development, and I am looking forward to working with him.' Mr Bickmore will join Kiln on 1st August.
