The benefit of gaining an appointment is that is a foot in the door and gives the prospective client time to consider their options prior to the appointment. It also highlights genuine interest and reduces time wasted visiting people who are not interested.
The benefit of gaining orders is that there is no time required after the call. The only problem with this route is that you are relying on some one with less information than your selves to sell the product and they may not be able to handle all of the objections/questions raised. Therefore, it is vital to supply as much information as possible.
After the initial follow up all you then have to do is attend appointments to sell your business or give excellent service which has been sold for you and watch your business grow!
